I built the site as a CD you spin and crack
We worked it out on calls: he would make the 3D, I would build the site around it. He wanted a CD you could spin, so the site is one, with no copy on the page. The disc comes in two states, one whole and one cracked the way a real CD splits, out from the centre. The scroll wheel or a thumb spins it, the pointer tilts it, and a click cracks it open into his order form.

His 3D loop plays behind the disc
The plan was to scrub his 3D with scroll. He rendered one ten second loop instead, his cover wall and floor reflections already moving, so we dropped the scroll track and the loop plays behind the disc. Gallery, order and follow sit on top as glass buttons, with his wordmark in the corner, which I rendered in chrome.

Then I added a shop for his premade covers
Ten days later he asked for a shop for his premade covers. He drops them into a private page on the site and they show up in the gallery with the price on the art. Each one can only be bought once. The buyer pays through Square, the download is on the next page, and the cover stays up marked sold out.
